Last week, we proudly supported the annual Girls in STEM/Engineering Day at South Devon College. It was an inspiring event where students from five local schools collaborated with STEM-based employers to tackle real-world challenges. The girls chose from three thought-provoking challenges: developing sustainable solutions to reduce microplastics in our oceans, designing an offshore renewable plant, and creating a sustainable propulsion vehicle.
The creativity, intelligence, and determination shown by these young women were truly remarkable. Their projects not only demonstrated their potential but also their passion for making a positive impact on our world.
Thank you South Devon College for organising such an amazing event! We are grateful to have been part of it and look forward to continuing our support for initiatives that encourage and empower the next generation of STEM leaders!
