Last week, Torbay Pharma welcomed a group of first‑year Pharmaceutical Sciences students from Middlesex University to our site.
We hosted 25 students and 5 lecturers for a guided tour designed to support their introduction to the pharmaceutical industry. The visit gave them the opportunity to see pharmaceutical manufacturing in action and learn about the diverse range of career paths available within the sector.
During the tour, the group explored our sterile manufacturing areas, packaging lines, warehouse, and both our chemistry and microbiology laboratories. They also heard directly from members of our team, who shared insights into their roles and the varied career journeys that brought them to Torbay Pharmaceuticals.
It was fantastic to see the students’ enthusiasm and curiosity as they learned about the work we do to deliver high‑quality medicines to the NHS and beyond.
